During my time as a volunteer in Ukraine with FFF UA, I had the chance to help people in difficult situations. It was a meaningful and eye-opening experience where I not only helped others but also learned a lot myself. I gained valuable insights into trauma and how it affects people, and I saw how strong and resilient people can be, even in the hardest times. This journey also brought me closer to the Christian faith. The people I met and the conversations I had gave me a new perspective on faith, hope, and the strength of those around me.
My time as a volunteer at FFF has brought me much more than it actually cost me.
By freeing up time and taking a step out of my comfort zone, I have seen how I can do something in the lives of people in need. I have learned to serve, and how we as a team can contribute together to the recovery of Ukraine.
I was able to experience how we could put the charity as Jesus taught us into practice.
I’m really thankfull for the time with FFF and am already planning to come back💙💛
